Cocteau Twins - Treasure (1984)
Feels good to be back home.
Earlier I said I was planning on posting CT's discography, and I just might get around to it now. This is their first album with Simon Raymonde as bassist and third overall. Captured on this LP is the quintessential Cocteau Twins sound: Liz Fraser has you entranced in some non-existent language while Robin Guthrie and Raymonde provide slightly goth-tinged somnambulant soundscapes. For those reasons it is probably their best work, but I don't know if I would call it my favorite.
